Bills Fan Rescued from 40-Foot Hole Outside Stadium After Bizarre Incident Involving Drugs and Construction Site

A Buffalo Bills fan appears to have got a little overexcited at his team’s home opener on Sunday, after a bizarre sequence of events ended in him being rescued by emergency services from a 40-foot hole outside the stadium.

The unnamed 29-year-old, who claims he was under the influence of alcohol, LSD, cocaine and marijuana, was recovered by officials in a 20-minute rescue operation before the game, with the first call coming around 12:18pm ET.

Security and fans situated outside the stadium advised cops that they had seen the man strip naked at an on-site porta potty, before covering himself in human excrement.

He then reportedly hopped the fence into the construction site for the new Bills’ stadium, which is just to the west of their current home at Orchard Park, across from Abbott Road and south of Community College Drive.

Incredibly, after being rescued the man’s only injury was a cut on his forehead, and he was transported to Buffalo General Hospital, where he was then evaluated by medical staff.

The man was also issued an appearance ticket in the Town of Orchard Park for criminal trespass, according to Sheriff Garcia of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.

Unfortunately for the Bills fan, he also missed his team’s first win of the season, as Josh Allen and Co bounced back from a Monday Night Football loss to the Jets, to beat the Las Vegas Raiders 38-10.

Police say there were a total of eight ejections from the stadium before, during and after the game – although none of the others are likely to get close to the bizarre nature of the pre-game trespasser.

Next up the Bills face a road game against the Washington Commanders in Week 3.
